Hi all 
A few birds for the winter list from a windy weekend here in Pictou Co. 
Bald Eagle- numerous including 3 imm. standing on a nest at the Seaview Cemetery in Pictou. I think this nest may have had triplets this year. 
Northern Harrier- Middle River Dyke
Long-tailed Duck- ~ 12 Caribou- Munroes I. PP
Surf Scoter- ~ 10 Caribou I. 
Barrow's Goldeneye- 1male Middle R. Dyke area
Hooded Merganser- East River of Pictou in New Glasgow-20,  Abercrombie-4
Red-Breasted Merganser- 2500 flying toward the Pictou Causeway as seen from Pier C in Pictou ~ 10:30 this morning
Bonaparte's Gull- 2500 near the fish ladder on the Middle R. Dyke mid- afternoon
Hairy Woodpecker- my feeder
Snow Bunting- 1 Caribou I. lighthouse
Red Crossbill- 1 yesterday New Glasgow
Common Redpoll- 12 Middle R. Dyke trail
