Glenn Rhodenizer of Second Peninsula phoned to let me know that another Wes=
tern Kingbird was there. This was yesterday and the bird at that time had =
been around for two days. Dorothy Poole and I picked up David Walmark and =
went to see the bird today. It was at the farm at the end, but this is pri=
vate property and one should not go on the land without first getting permi=
ssion of the owners. The bird had been hanging near the houses and the bar=
n initially over the past two days. Today though it was on the fence sitti=
ng far out on the field along the road that goes out there. The bird then =
would fly to manure piles and was seen to be getting food. At last viewing=
it was way back down over the hill on the other side quite close to the oc=
ean at some larger manure piles there.
=20
When Dorothy and I came across on the Lahave Ferry we saw a snow goose flyi=
ng up the LaHave River.
=20
The only other bird of note was a double-crested cormorant just ouside of B=
ridgewater yesterday.
=20
At Second Peninsula today were 20 Bonaparte gulls.
