I didn't come across anythimg much on a brief foray across the bridge, but did
note that Iceland Gulls were now present in some numbers - 16 among mostly
Ring-bills apparently foraging on small Crustacea (amphipods noted) in the surf
between E. Passage and Hartlen Pt.

At midday there were 19 Black-bellied Plovers and about 70 Dunlin foraging on
the HP golf course.  I think I've rarely seen that many of the latter away from
mudflats or sandflats.
