Took a drive around the peninsula this afternoon, beautiful weather after  
the storm and spectacular surf on the outer ledges, in places probably 50 ft  
high. Nothing unusual in birding activity but there were about 30 snow buntings  
on Bayswater beach. The storm pretty much destroyed the road behind 
Queensland  Beach and for a time the old Hwy 3 was impassable due to boulders and  
debris.
