Hi all

Too many people showed up at the Chebucto Head... I scanned the ocean =
off Chebucto Head and managed to find:

1 red throated loon (close to the rocks)
1 Common loon
1 probable Common murre? I needed someone to confirm the ID Its back =
looked very dark brown. It had a smooth curve on its neck and all black =
on its face. No white face? It was hard to locate it through the scope =
after seeing it with the binos... Never re-located it If it is a =
Common Murre, it would be a lifer for me!
1 Black Gullimont
few Gannets
Common eiders
Double crested cormorant

1 first year Gannet in Purcell's Cove

Cheers, liz
