The Canadian Hurricane Center on the other hand is saying it will be post-tropical. Obviously the Weather Channel is repeating the US forecast.
Angus

At 12:08 AM 11/2/2007, you wrote:

just watching the weather channel and there saying that the winds could be as hight as 120 kph does not sound like post tropical to me,

*****************************************
Stan Riggs
1731 South Bishop Rd.
Coldbrook
Nova Scotia
Canada
B4R1B6
Web Page www.coldbrookweather.ca
Online Photos http://community.webshots.com/user/glooscap
***************************************************************************
hold on to your hats with this one

----- Original Message -----

From: Terri Crane

To: naturens@chebucto.ns.ca ; NS-RBA@yahoogroups.com

Sent: Thursday, November 01, 2007 7:54 PM

Subject: [NatureNS] Weather watching

Hi everyone.

I don't know how every one else feeles about Noel (most likly to be post tropical storn or tropical storm upon arrival on our shores). I know I'm watching the track to see what goodies it may bring. I know it won't be a Wilma because of its track BUT none the less it does hold the posability of carring perhaps some Oceanic/Sea bird rareities to us.

There's no doubt that it has some goodies intraped with in it now. What remains to be seen is where and how close to land it choses to release them. Next will be if any sharp eyes will pick them up. I'm hopeing we'll recieve some of it's avian riches. Oceanic/Sea birds should be able to reture home more easily then the fait delt to the land birds.

Tom K

Canso
