At one point, near Whipple Point, the sky darkened, the dogs put their tails down and ran back to her, and a tight-knit flock of 40 Turkey Vultures, very close together, flew slowly overhead. Later they were roosting in the trees near our camp. She also saw the Snow Goose, numerous ducks and shorebirds, a Peregrine, and Gannets diving very close, all around the seals, in Pond Cove.
