When driving home from work around 02:30 the other evening there was a grea=
t meteor shower. There was one meteor part way down the river which almost=
made it to the ground. It petered out just above the tree line and was br=
ight enough to make me blink my eyes. In other words it hurt the eyes to l=
ook at it before it burned out. It was brilliant white. At least it appear=
ed to be a meteor. There was no space debris that fell to earth that anyon=
e knows about is there?
