A juvenile Yellow-bellied Sapsucker was seen this morning and a Fox
Sparrow on Oct 18. The large numbers of Wh-thr. Sparrows and Purple
Finch we had last week seem to have vanished with yesterday's rain.
Early October brought the first Red-br. Nuthatches we have had in years,
and some, at least, have persisted.
