Oct. 11, 2007 - ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK: at my Wolfville feeders at 1 p.m. and again at 6 p.m., an juvenile male graced us with his presence -- he looks mostly like Nat. Geographicıs first fall male, and less like Sibleyıs first winter male (Aug. to Mar.), EXCEPT that the orange shown in the illustrations is actually bright pinkish in the bird itself and just in a triangular breast patch in the shape of the red of an adult.
