The space station is once again making visible passes in the evening
sky. There will be a pass that peaks at 7:49 Friday evening 30
degrees above the southeast. It should be spotted beginning out of
the SSW, a bit below Jupiter (the bright "star" above the
southwestern horizon) about 7:47 p.m. Just before 7:51 it will enter
Earth shadow in the east under the Great Square of Pegasus.

Tomorrow evening (Oct 6th) ISS will make a super high and bright
pass. Here in Avonport it will pass essentially overhead at 8:12
p.m., coming out of the WSW about 8:10 p.m. and abruptly enter Earth
shadow about 45 sec after the overhead point while still 44 degrees
above the ENE horizon.

Oct 8th and 9th there are good passes too.

You can refine the times and details closer to your location if you
go to
http://www.glinx.com/~sherm/iss_pass_schedule.htm
