As part of its silver anniversary festival program ARCAC (Annapolis =
Region Community Arts Council) is sponsoring an interesting local field =
excursion that some of you may be interested in participating in. =

"Living Landscapes"
Steve Hawboldt, of the Clean Annapolis River Project, and Sharon =
Hawboldt, knowledgeable birder, will guide participants on a walk that =
highlights the integration of cultural and natural history. Features =
will include fall warblers, ducks, airports, shipyards, fresh and salt =
march (sic) habitats, wastewater treatment and basalt quarries. Discover =
how transportation has forever altered the environment and how natural =
processes offer solutions to contemporary issues. Come prepared for less =
than two hours of easy walking: bring binoculars (a few loaners will be =
available).=20
Location: French Basin Trail (meet at restored train station, 151 =
Victoria Street).
Date/Time: Saturday, September 22nd 10:00 a.m. to noon.
Fee: $5.00
