Fri, Sept 7 / 07 - 1.30 p.m.

New Minas Sewage Ponds:

Red-necked Phalarope

1- Spotted Sandpiper

~250 - Teal sp. (mostly GREEN-wings but I did spot a couple of Blue-wings so
there may be more)

~40 - mix of Mallards and Black Ducks

The phalarope was happily swimming/ feeding among the teal. Possibly the
same individual seen at the mouth of the Cornwallis River on Jean Timpa's
'Nature Canada' west Grand Pre dyke walk last month?

Cheers,

Judy Tufts
