Fri, Sept 7 / 07 - 1.30 p.m. New Minas Sewage Ponds: Red-necked Phalarope 1- Spotted Sandpiper ~250 - Teal sp. (mostly GREEN-wings but I did spot a couple of Blue-wings so there may be more) ~40 - mix of Mallards and Black Ducks The phalarope was happily swimming/ feeding among the teal. Possibly the same individual seen at the mouth of the Cornwallis River on Jean Timpa's 'Nature Canada' west Grand Pre dyke walk last month?
