Sat., Sept. 8, - Salt Marshes -- Join Nancy Neatt, co-founder of C.B. Wetlands & Environmental Specialists Inc. (CBWES), www.cbwes.com, for a walk along one of Nova Scotia's inspiring salt marshes. Find out all about this special habitat including what vegetation and critters can be found there. We can also view the connections between salt marshes and other coastal habitats, such as beaches and dunes, and discuss the impacts of coastal development and salt marsh restoration. Dress for the weather; remember your rubber boots. Bring a lunch if you want to stay after the programme for an informal stroll along the beach. This trip will take place rain or shine.
