All: Susann Myers just phoned to say that there is a juv. RUFF (and a Stilt Sandpiper) among the dowitchers and yellowlegs at "Shorebird Cove," Three Fatho Hbr., HRM. It is now almost 2 hrs. past low tide, and the birds will probably move to the margins of Dottie's Pond 2-3 hrs hence. Shorebird Cove can be accessed from the Three-fathom Hbr loop to and from from the shore road (207) and running past the head of Dottie's Pond. There is a driveway, gated by small logs, that can be walked to the cove. This driveway is the the first one on right along the level stretch of road after coming up the hill (from the west) from Dottie's Pond. It is just after a set-back house on the left. The driveway and cove margin are private property, but shorebird watchers are welcome. Ian McLaren
