Dr. George Archibald, conservationist, and co-founder of the International Crane Foundation in Wisconsin, will give a talk on Wednesday, August 8 at 7 pm at the Seaforth Community Hall, 6060 Highway 207 on the West Chezzetcook/ Lawrencetown Road. He will talk about the Foundation, his efforts to save cranes around the world, and the Saint Mary’s River. Check out the International Crane Foundation website at www.savingcranes.org and the article about Dr. Archibald in the Winter 2007 issue of the Dalhousie Alumni Magazine.
