Four whimbrels  were on the golfcourse  esp. at high tide either feeding =
or dodging golfballs.   Later on, I came across a tired Pectoral =
Sandpiper feeding along with two Savannah sparrows on the pebbly beach =
near where we park our cars.  When I left, it rested on the seaweed  =
despite three over-excited dogs and their masters...    Luckily they =
didn't get too close to the bird. =20
