    Thanks for the great photos of the Yellow Floating Heart (Nymphoides 
peltata) from Little Albro Lake. Interestingly, I used to have a 
population in my garden pond in South End Halifax, until it was 
extirpated by another invasive Old World aquatic plant species, the 
European Frog-bit (Hydrocharis morsus-ranae)....
