I went through the same thing your son is going through, from the sounds of it. I came out to Nova Scotia in 2005 to attend school at COGS in Lawrencetown. I worried the whole year about getting job, and had the same exchanges with my parents. Well it turns out I got a great job back home, then was later hired by a company in California where I am now. Your email to your son reminded me of everything I went through and I wish your son the best of luck. I just thought i'd pass along this message for whatever it's worth.
