While in Winnipeg I found this butterfly of which I had not clue. I 
was surprised to find out it was a Skipper, the Silver-spotted. This 
skipper has not been recorded in NS but has been found in NB so 
perhaps some day. (Two pics)

Twig caterpillars are perhaps the most unique of all the 
caterpillars. I could not identify this one but perhaps an underwing 
moth. (Three pics)

This wasp is one of the most spectacularly marked despite its
