Hi,

This afternoon I went out to the Cole Harbor salt marsh trail to check for shorebirds.
Bad timing due to miss reading the tide chart left me with still rising tide and no exposed mudflats.
However, I was able to scope a immature Black-bellied Plover and to witness a feeding frenzy of 50+ Common Terns in the strong current just past the first bridge. Shouldn't be to long till the flocks of dowitchers and peeps start to make their appearance.

Ulli
