Hi,

Liz and I stayed at a friend's on Lake George last night, and this morning
we were treated to a great show lasting about 30 mins., of a pair of Loons
feeding their 2 young, just a few metres in front of us. Both adults were
very attentive, and kept diving for small fish and feeding them to the
young. Occasionally the young would be carried on the adults' back, but
usually they just swam around behind them. The adults would occasionally
yodel and wail, and the young would give weak and barely audible imitations.
After we watched all this enthralled, and took lots of pictures, the family
swam off towards the other end of the lake.
