All: Mid-morning I wandered through the saltmarsh behind Silver Sands Beach, Cow Bay, HRM. Nothing exciting, but I did note the following of mild interest. About 30 E. Willets, including agitated adults, but only four fledged young. Eleven Lesser and four Greater Yellowlegs - no dowitchers. Two adult Nelson's Sharp-tailed Sparrows (fewer than expected). One was carrying food - maybe a heads up for the "owner" of that Atlas Square, although probably already confirmed. Two ratty Bonaparte's Gulls (beginning second cycle, i.e. about one year old). Cheers, Ian McLaren
