There are starting to be reports of the bog orchids coming into bloom. I noticed the Arethusa bulbosa just starting at the warmer edge of a bog in West Chezzetcook on Sunday. Paul MacDonald, in his report of a canoe ride with BB, mentioned seeing Rose pogona coming into bloom. So everyone, keep yours eyes peeled for that hot pink in the bogs. Heather D. Wild Flora Society
