Good morning, all.

I just returned from one of my frequent outings to Conrad's Beach, where
at around 0800 I saw two Piping Plover high on the beach, to the east of
the boardwalk.

The area to the west of the boardwalk is no longer roped off for them,
and the area to the east now is.

Another shorebird I saw again was my "mystery" bird, that I now believe
must be the White-Rumped Sandpiper, as suggested by Ian McLaren and
Susann Myers. (Thanks, folks.)

cheers,
Bob Lindsay
Dartmouth
