Hi All Thursday eveing I was along a wooded stream until after dark. This stream flows through a mixed woods and is about waist deep in places. The high water make it quite swift - what I mean is its a good place for flies of various types. The trees form a canopy over the stream so the sun doesn't reach the water directly - keeps it cool. Anyway after the sun went down, the thrushes from the surronding woods came to the side of the stream to feed on the insects gathered there. I was susprised how many. They were flying back and forth, sitting on the rocks close to the water. There was a smaller bird also but as it grew dark features were hard to determine. Have a nice spring Paul ____________________________________________________________________________________ Be a better Globetrotter. Get better travel answers from someone who knows. Yahoo!
