Peter, I'm not sure what the famous wharf would be but I enjoy photographing
at Blomidonon on the beach and near by Hall's Harbour if you want some fun
shots of the boats sitting on the ground at low tide, and a nice place to
eat.  Scott's Bay beach also shows the dramatic tide levels nicely and is
only 10-15 minute drive from Blomidon.

water is up to the edge of the beach at high tide.
