Also at the same time an AM. ROBIN was seen CARRYING FOOD in its beak, which is a confirmation of breeding for my Maritime Breeding Bird Atlas square. June 4, 2007 - ROBIE TUFTS NATURE CENTRED AT DUSK: 44+ TOTAL CHIMNEY SWIFTS counted by Ted Wolkowski, who once again for the 4th? year has ³adopted² the chimney and swifts in Wolfville and seems to enjoy the nearly-nightly activity of monitoring the birds and talking knowledgably with other gawkers -- observations from 7:15 to 8:40 p.m. (Sunset 8:55) -- low overcast, periods of light shower or mist, wind from east, 14 C. -- 2 swifts entered chimney at 7:30, 2 at 7:33, 2 at 7:41, 6 at 8:04, 27+ at 8:10-8:13, 4 at 8:20, 1 at 8:35. Cheers from Jim in Wolfville
