Come along and visit Windhorse Farm, which has been practicing sustainable forestry for many years. Owner Jim Drescher will give us a tour of the farm, which, besides the woodlot, has a native plant nursery and an organic garden, and also operates a small woodshop. We will be served a local, organic, seasonal lunch, prepared in the farm kitchen. There is a cost of $15.00 for the lunch. Registration is necessary and required by Wednesday, June 13th. For more information, see the Windhorse Farm website at www.windhorsefarm.org.
