Angus' post reminds me that I continue to be very interested in the  
dispersal of the Lily beetle (Lilioceris lilii) in the Maritimes. If  
you find them on Tiger lilies or Fritillaria in your garden (outside  
the Halifax metro area; they are well-established and widely- 
distributed here, much to all of our chagrin .... :->), I would  
appreciate hearing about it. Let me know where, when, on what plant,  
and if you have seen them in your garden in previous years.

I have a paper which is currently being reviewed on this species and  
am very interested in seeing if they show up in new localities in  
2007. Angus's report from Coldbrook is the first one that I am aware  
of from there.
