This is our second one this spring or perhaps a revisit from the earlier bird. I walked my usual circuit at Lewis Lake PP this morning, from shortly after 6AM to about 8:30AM. It was windy and very cold so I regretted not donning gloves. The park gates are closed until 8AM so I parked at the gates and walked in. No problem here, the walk was eventful with several Black-throated Blue Warblers and two Canada Warblers heard on route plus lots of the more common stuff. All told I saw or heard thirteen warbler species, the only common one not found was Yellow Warbler. All these warblers are summer residents here. I look forward to a quiet sunny day.
