Good afternoon,

Although no Ruby-throated Hummingbirds have shown up to make use of the 
sugar water feeders, we did have a visit this afternoon by a BAOR!!  This 
breeding-plumaged male began at the sunflower seed feeder but found the 
hummer feeder more to his liking.  This is a first for our yard and really 
quite an unusual bird around Halifax in the spring.  Around here they are 
more commonly seen in fall/winter trying to survive at suet feeders and 
avoiding Sharp-shinned Hawks.

I took a few pics which I may try to post in the near future.  Sure hope 
that it stays around for the NSMC tomorrow.
