Index of Subjects Destroying the nest is usually an ineffective thing to do, if they have identified it as an ideal nesting location, they will likely try again , or someone else will. Plus, they are likely incubating egss already. Crows are extremely intelligent and entertaining to have around, and once the babies hatch and fledge, they will leave the nest area for good. They should be hatching soon and will fledge at about 30-35 days. She asked me if there is any way to chase them away, so they build their nest elsewhere. She is frightened of crows, and as well the birds are leaving droppings all over their vehicle and their front yard. All I can think of, is to destroy the nest with a stick - hopefully the crows would get the message they're unwelcome and move on. Anyone have any other ideas?
