Hi All This afternoon a friend and I went to the river for a little R&R. Lovely day but windy. My friend caught a salmon smolt - 12 - 15 cms. It was in the process of changing from a parr to a smolt. Nearly all silver but still some parr markings. As it was about 1 k from the sea, it wouldn't take long to get there. All part of the cycle.
