Index of Subjects Hi Basil: Thank you for sending along the picture. It is indeed of a red-winged blackbird and you definitely made the right identification. The wing epilettes are faded and still in mostly winter plumage. The red is barely seen and a lot of white or pale yellow shows on overwintering red-winged blackbirds. All the best for now.
