Hi: Apologies to anyone who might have gone directly to Martinique Beach to meet with today's scheduled NS Bird Soc. field trip. I waited at the posted Dartmouth meeting place until 08:15, but only two turned up. Since it was drizzling, cold, and the wind was rising, and since I was feeling a little under the weather, we agreed that we would call off the trip. If any net indeperndently to Martinique Beach, I'm sure you were able to proceed on that exhilirating walk without me as nominal "leader." Cheers, Ian McLaren
