Common Goldeneye -      (m)   

BARROWS Goldeneye - (m)   

Ring-n. Duck - (m) 

N Pintail -        (m)   

Grn-w. Teal -   (5m 2f)   

Black Duck -   (30)   

Mallard -         (25)

 

D.U. POND, Cornwallis River Crossing Rd, west end of New Minas:

Ring-n. Duck -  (2m)

 

CANARD POND :

A Wigeon -    (2m 1f)

N Pintail -     (mf)

Grn-w. Teal - (1m)

          Very few ducks seen. 

 

SAXON ST POND: (water level even lower than before)

C SNIPE -     (5) - feeding in a tight little group. 

Killdeer -       (6+)

Grn-w. Teal - (40)

 

HARRIS' POND, Canning:

Canada Goose - (13)

Ring-n. Duck -    (4m 2 f/imms)

Grn-w. Teal -      (m)

 

CANNING ABOITEAU:

N Pintail - (5m)     Flushed from the river when an adult Bald Eagle cruised
slowly in their vicinity.

Canada Goose - (700+)    Flew in from the west into Habitant River, for the
night maybe? More geese could be heard (not seen) along the river bank edges
towards the mouth of this river.
