Index of Subjects Hi Angus, Great shots. The moth you photographed may be the Yellow-collared Scape Moth(cisseps fulvicollis). I noted that the photos were taken in September 2006. Bug net.com notes that the adult Virginia Ctenucha Moth flies from May-July while the adult Yellowed collared Scape Moth flies into late fall. I remember this because there was a very large influx of the Yellow-collared Scarp Moth late last summer here in north CB and they were originally ID'd as Virginia Ctenucha. Just a thought.
