A really good birding day...   Merry Easter to all of you!

Martinque Beach
- 1 Mockingbird  (sorry you missed it, Susan)
- 1 Ipswich sparrow on the parking lot=20
(did not walk on the beach -  too windy)=20

Petpeswick
- 1 American Kestrel
- 1 Ruffed Grouse

Grand Desert Marsh
- 1 large Ipswich sparrow with 4 Savannah sparrows in a bush - A perfect =
photo for photography, but no camera with me.=20

Fisherman's Reserve
- 1 murre - good, long close up looks - its beak is thick and long.  I =
have not yet decided which species

Three Fathom Pond (name?)  (it is where we would see lots of yellowlegs =
in Augustl)
- lots of Common Mergansers and Scaups. =20

Three Fathom Harbour/ wharf=20
- lots of Common Eiders and Red Breasted Mergansers

East Lawrencetwon=20
- 1 Fox sparrow at the feeders=20
- 1 Black scoter with 50 + Common Eiders

Hartlen Point (snow was now starting to fall hard)=20
-1 Ipswich sparrow
- 1 Iceland Gull
- 1 Bonaparte's Gull (no black hood)

Dartmouth Cove
- Common Loon snapping up a small crab off the harbour surface - close =
to the shore!  Is that unusual?

Sullivan's Pond
- 1 Black headed gull (with the full black hood) still there
- 6 Coots
- a few American Wigeons - hard to figure them out through the snow
