I walked out Martinique Beach to Flying Pt. on Friday afternoon, in a gale of onshore wind. (I seem to recall writing much the same last year at about this date.) No sign of Piping Plovers, but the sensible place for a plover to have been was in the grass, in the lee of the dunes.

I did see:
11 Sanderlings
7 Ipswich Sparrows

Cheers,
Susann
