March 31, 2007 - Ruth Bennett called about a dead hawk in her Port Williams
back yard; it was a yearling N. HARRIER, which was dried and partly consumed
-- impossible to tell or guess when or where or how it met its demise. Her
yard had a single C. GRACKLE.

ALDER CATKINS open in a swamp at Greenwich.

April 1, 2007 - Pat & I saw an AM. KESTREL bout a km. s. of Canning
Aboiteau. A single AM. ROBIN in Canning. And in
Canard Pond, about 400 CANADA GEESE, 2 male RING-NECKED DUCKS, a male
PINTAIL, etc.

Cheers from Jim in Wolfville, 542-9204
