Hi All The Mallard X Black drake that has been coming to our feeder has finally arrived with a mate. While it looks like a black, it is lighter in color than the other Blacks around also its bill is like a Mallards. I cann't see its wing very well and have no way of testing for DNA but it looks like a cross also. Should be an interesting brood of ducklings should they emerge latter this summer.
