Hi there,

While strolling around the canal at Shubie Park in the Port Wallis area of
Dartmouth on Saturday afternoon (24 March) I found a single patch of
Coltsfoot (Tussilago farfara) in bloom. It was growing in a gravelly bank
on the east side of the canal. This is the first wildflower I have seen in
bloom this year. A sure sign of spring!

	Cheers,

	Patricia L. Chalmers
	Halifax
