Hi All
BB and I went this afternoon to walk up this brook.
True to its name it comes out of a marsh. And
unsusprisingly the walking was bad. Frozen humps all
over the place. Some would carry me others wouldn't.
We turned around after about 1 km.
The brook is pleasant. meanders through a grassy
meadow with a few red maples plus some Black spruce.
Plenty rabbit tracks and a beaver had just cut down a
white birch just beside the brook.
The only bird I saw was a red tailed hawk overlooking
a meadow. Prehaps there's a nest nearby.
A nice way to start the spring.
Paul
