A week ago today there was a Northern Raven carrying a stick flying
N.east to S.west across University Avenue at corner of Edward. Thanks
for the reminder, Peter. I don't know of a raven nest nearby.(?) It
croaked as it went over, in spite of the stick in its mouth.
Ava saw a pair of American Coots this morning at Sullivan's Pond. They
were a new bird for her. Not that she's a birder, she insists. Cheers, Joan
