Hi Peter,

I've have several Song Sparrows in my backyard during the whole
winter and so far all have remained mute. The House Finches, however,
have not. The past couple of weeks, whenever a warm day has made its
appearance, a male has warbled beautifully 2-3 times a day - a great
pleasure.

There has been a Flicker around sporadically and a week or so ago a
Sharp-shinned Hawk made a brief visit. As for spring, it has yet to
show itself - but perhaps this weekend! ;->

Cheers,

Chris
