A nice treat for Dorothy Poole and I, this morning was the brown thrasher at
Lower Rose Bay. Sorry I cannot reveal the location of this one due the
wishes of the property owner. This bird has successfully over-wintered and
is looking very healthy. It was singing the other day also, so I have my
fingers crossed. I think that it is only a matter of time before we will
see a nesting pair in that locality which is the Rose Bay, Kingburg area.
Every year one or more of these birds show up there at various times.
