Hi All; The preliminary final winter's total for Nova Scotia was 204 species, with the final addition being the Long-eared Owl -- a nice photo by Bill Curry. The complete data from the various Christmas Bird Counts might eventually turn up something else, but in the meantime if you have any personal winter list totals you'd like to pass along, I'd love to add them to the winter list page. http://www3.ns.sympatico.ca/maybank/other/nswinterlists.htm And the winter birding page is: http://www3.ns.sympatico.ca/maybank/other/nswinter.htm Cheers, ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Blake Maybank Editor, "Nova Scotia Birds" author, "Birding Sites of Nova Scotia" http://maybank.tripod.com/BSNS.htm 144 Bayview Drive White's Lake, Nova Scotia, B3T 1Z1, Canada maybank@ns.sympatico.ca (902) 852-2077 -- No virus found in this outgoing message.
