I was at Crescent Beach this morning and near the far entrance a large sparrow flew out of the grass. It had a lot of yellow on the body and I believe it might have been a dickcissel. It landed long enough to get a look, but it was so cold and windy that my eyes were watering and it flew off before my vision cleared enough to determine what it might be. The wind was very strong and cold on the beach this morning and it was not pleasant trying to see birds. A yellow-rumped warbler was hunkered in a wooded section by the beach. James R.
