Hi Jeannie,

So glad you got your Brown Creeper!  Your pictures show his down-curved 
bill very clearly.  Isn't he a neat bird?  Talk about protective 
colouration (except on the snow)!  If you ever get to see his wings 
spread out he has a very noticeable beige stripe across the wings.  I 
saw that once when I held one in my hands after he crashed into our 
garage window.

We've been taking pics of the frost on our porch windows too - it's so 
beautiful, but tricky getting a good picture.  Yours show up well with 
the dark background.
